CAPITOL TOURS

Every year the Michigan State Capitol welcomes over 115,000 people including tourists, schoolchildren, and families that tour the building with a guide or independently. While at the Capitol visitors have the opportunity to watch the legislature meet for session, they can admire the nine acres of hand-painted decorative art, and they learn stories from Michigan’s past.

Whether you are interested in state history, Michigan’s government, or art, we encourage you to plan to tour Michigan’s beautiful Capitol today!
